These are the latest canvases by Pat Lambrecht-Hould and myself, created with a twist on the previous themes as we have produced in the past. "Redemption" utilizes the water reflection element, always a popular subject matter with collectors. "Bounty" is of the high country theme, that really goes for bold, exciting color with lots of surface texture. Both of these canvases are on display at Van Gogh's Ear Gallery in Prescott, AZ.

New for 2015 is this 48x36" canvas entitled "Sky Tide" especially prepared for the new May Gallery location on Main Street in Old Town, Scottsdale, AZ. The subject matter is something I know quite well as I have been painting the southwest desert landscape for more than four decades now, and not to mention the complimentary dramatic skies that accompany the scene.

These new images just completed this month are "monsoon" inspired. "Vantage Point" is suggestive of a wide panoramic view of the southwest desert country. "Deep Afternoon" continues my love of painting blooming yuccas with a colorful desert flora foundation. Now available in my studio collection.

Congratulations to Manos Gallery in Tubac, Arizona for the sale of "Tumacacori" a collaborative piece created by Pat Lambrecht-Hould and myself. This painting, a 40"x 50" gallery wrap, sold for $7,400.00, was initially painted by Pat with her bold, textured, abstract technique and then I painted the mission image over her background, allowing the colors and mixed media texture to shine through. This collaborative canvas was number five in a current inventory of 14 images we've done together in this last year. Mary Helen Watson, the owner of the Gallery, has been an enthusiastic supporter of this creative experimentation for which we are both indeed grateful. Thanks again Manos Gallery!
